2018 YOUTH GROUP GOLF INSTRUCTION
The Northbrook Golf Academy (NGA) Youth Development and Camp Program, under the direction of award-winning Youth Golf Leader Michael Wenzel, focuses on skills development and individual progression through five levels with designated benchmarks to achieve after each level. Students begin with the basics and practice their skills on the range and the course. Our instructors utilize high-speed video as well as club delivery and launch monitor data from TrackMan to offer the area’s best golf instruction. The Academy offers in house leagues, travel teams, and one-week camps that focus on skills application, course management, rules and etiquette. Each camp includes prizes, a participation gift, and a fun experience. A low student-to-coach ratio enhances the learning process, and allows our PGA Professionals to provide your child with the personal attention they deserve.
Little Stars: (Ages 3-5)
Introduce young children to golf with easy-to-hit balls, Velcro-type targets and the SNAG program (Starting New at Golf). With simple rules and terms that add to the fun, children learn how to swing, putt and chip with just two clubs. It’s the coolest way to learn golf! Students receive a complimentary round of mini-golf at Sportsman’s.
