How the Program Works

There are 3 easy steps:

  1. Select your initial investment from the table below based upon the amount of golf you plan on playing during the upcoming season.
  2. Based on your initial investment, Sportsman's Country Club will instantly award you 30%, 45% or 60% of the amount invested (see table below). The total (your investment plus your Bonus reward) will be placed in a special. Preferred Account in our database. The program works like a debit card with dividends. The more you play, the more you save.
  3. Play golf! On the day you play, the appropriate fee for that day and time will be deducted from your Preferred Account.

How Do I Use the Plan?
  • Flexible Times! Play is allowed anytime Monday through Friday (except Holidays), on the Classic 18, East 9, and Anetsberger courses.
  • Weekends/Holidays are included! On the 18 Hole course, you may use your Preferred Account starting after 1:00 through the end of the day. 
  • League use is allowed! There are no limits if you wish to play in golf leagues. The prepaid green fees will be deducted from your Preferred Account prior to the season.
  • 7-day unlimited usage is available! Early and late in the season, your Preferred Account is valid 7 days, all day, on both courses. For Spring, it will be valid through the Friday before permanent tee times start, usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April.  In the fall, your account may be used without restriction after October 1.
  • Special East 9 benefits! Your Preferred Account may be used anytime, 7 days a week, for play on the East 9. A great advantage when you haven't time for 18 holes!
  • Special green fee rates! The plan enables you to take full advantage of senior, junior, or twilight fees when they apply.  You can also take full advantage of any “special” green fees offered by Sportsman's. If Spring or Fall discounts are offered, the “special” green fee will be deducted from your Preferred Account. 


What Happens to the Money in My Preferred Account?

  • The best component of the program!If you have a Preferred Account balance at the end of the season, it will carry over at 100% to the following season. If you join the plan the following year, these new funds will be added to the existing balance. If you choose not to reinvest the following season, your Preferred Account may be used for one season only until depleted.
  • If your Preferred Account is exhausted, you may add more funds and receive the same Preferred Award established by the initial buy-in. Additional buy-in will be in $100 increments, and your Preferred Award will be added at 30%, 45%, or 60%, depending on the initial investment. The ability to add on expires Sunday, Dec. 10th 2006, after this date a new plan will need to be purchased.

Sounds Great! What's the Catch?

  • As outlined above, there are certain times on weekends & holidays that your Preferred Account is not available, specifically the Classic 18 isn't available until after  1:00 on Saturday's and Sunday's. 
  • Your Preferred Account may be used for green fees only, and only by the person named in the account. Your Preferred Account is non-transferable and non-refundable.
