Dress Code: Collared shirts and pocketed golf shorts or pants are required. Golf shirts must be tucked in, and caps must be worn facing forwards at all times. Golf Shoes or Gym shoes may be worn while you play. Inappropriate attire includes: tank tops, gym shorts or cut offs, sweats, halter or tube tops, short shorts, mesh shirts, and inappropriate t-shirts.
Check In: Please check in at the golf shop at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tee time. This will allow you to be on time for your tee time, pick up your prizes, and warm up. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to the game, the golf course, other customers, staff and volunteers. We want your junior golfer to have fun without endangering themselves or anyone around them. Junior participants and their guests not conducting themselves in an appropriate manner may be asked to leave the facility and subsequent Junior Programs. Any inappropriate behavior will result in suspension from the Junior Golf League and the Junior Golf Development Program.
Examples of Misconduct: Equipment: Juniors should possess their own set of clubs, balls, tees, and are responsible for carrying or pulling their own bag. Pull carts are available for rent for $2. All equipment is for sale in the golf shop, and is competitively priced. Rental clubs are available, with a 24 hour notification. Pairings: You may set up your tee time for you and your friends up to two weeks in advance by calling the golf shop at 847-291-2971 between 8am and 6pm. Cancellation Policy: A 48 hour cancelation policy is in effect for the courtesy of all league players. Rain Outs: A decision on league rain outs will be made approximately ½ hour before your scheduled tee times. Please call 847-291-2971 for more information. We will play in light or medium rain, hot, cold or windy conditions, but league will not take place if thunder, lightning or heavy rain is present. Pick Up: Your child should be finished with their round between 1:45 and 2 hours. Highly Recommended: It is highly recommended your child continues to advance their skills by continuing to take classes in the Northbrook Golf Academy's Junior Development Program or by taking affordable one-on-one youth private instruction from our PGA Professionals. Playing and participating are equally important for your junior to succeed.
